An enclosed dog walking park is a specially designed outdoor space where dogs can run, play, and exercise off-leash in a safer, more controlled environment. Cei Meadows Dog Park offers a private, spacious field fully enclosed by 6-foot fences with airlock gates, giving dog owners peace of mind as their dogs explore freely without the risk of casually running off or encountering other dogs, people, traffic, or wildlife. Our park features three separate paddocks - 'Rupert's Runaround', 'Maisie's Meadow' and 'Ruby's Retreat', each equipped with seating for owners, water bowls for dogs, and waste disposal bins, all designed to ensure a convenient and enjoyable experience for both dogs and their owners.
We're conveniently situated on Mold Road (B5126), just on the outskirts of Connah's Quay, heading towards Northop. Our location in Deeside, Flintshire is close to major towns such as Flint, Mold, Buckley, Chester, the Wirral and surrounding areas. For detailed directions, you can check out the Google map on our contact page or you can get detailed directions from our Google listing on Google Maps (opens a new window). If you have any difficulty finding us, feel free to reach out for assistance.
September 2024: Open daily from 6am to 9pm (last booking at 8pm).
From 1st October: Hours will change to 7am to 7pm (last booking at 6pm) due to shorter daylight hours and no lighting at the park.
Weather-related changes may also occur from time to time, but our booking calendar will always show the latest availability.
Don't worry! If the access code you received doesn't work, simply give us a call on 07743 660146 and we will immediately provide you with the correct code. We're here to ensure your entry goes smoothly!
We encourage you to bring your own dogs toys but please from a point of safety and convenience, make sure you take them away with you including any broken toys, especially balls and anything that could potentially become a choking hazard. Water bowls are available for your dogs, but you might want to bring a towel! With the newly added paddling pool at Maisie's Meadow and the wet weather, your doggy could get a bit soggy! Don't forget your wellies and a bag to keep them in for a cleaner car ride home.
Each paddock at Cei Meadows Dog Park now features its own pavilion - a roofed wooden shelter, providing welcome relief on both hot and rainy days. We've also included a picnic bench in each paddock, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your time with your dog.
Please note that as we've just recently opened, there are currently no on-site toilet facilities, so we kindly ask you to plan accordingly before your visit. We're always eager to hear your feedback - if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the park, please let us know! We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to grow and enhance the experience for everyone.
While the park is typically unsupervised, you may frequently see us around performing routine maintenance. Each paddock is equipped with an airlock gate that you can drive into upon arrival. To enter, simply use the entry code sent to you in your booking confirmation email. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, please stick to your allotted time slot and leave the park clean and tidy. Remember to take all toys and valuables with you when you leave.
If you visit Cei Meadows and enjoy your experience, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share your feedback. You can leave a review through our website by filling out the contact form, visit our Facebook page and tap on the review tab, or via our Google My Business listing.
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your visit, we kindly ask that you speak to us first (call 07743660146) before leaving a review. As a newly opened facility, neutral or negative reviews can be disheartening and potentially harmful. We're committed to getting things right and are always eager to listen and improve based on your feedback. We want your custom, we want you to return! Our mission is to have many happy customers and just as importantly, very happy dogs so we are always keen on your thoughts and of course any ideas or suggestions of what you might like to see at Cei Meadows are most welcome! This park is for you to enjoy!
